SRS returns to the 4th Annual Winchester Chefs Dinner!

SRS was able to participate again this year at Winhester’s 4th Annual Chefs Dinner to benefit the Winchester Free Medical Clinic!  We were excited to return as the dinnerware and glassware sponsor at this 6 course meal for such an amazing cause!

We have compiled a short, behind the scenes, hyperlapse video recap of all the courses done by each Chef!  This menu was quite a stand out!

First Course: Mexican Jamalaya By Chef Moises Fuentes, El Centro

Second Course:  Salad of Local Asparagus with Grilled Ramps, Spring Peas and Crispy Virginia Ham Topped with a Lemon Sabayon By Chef Daniel Kalber, Village Square Restaurant

Third Course:  Pan Seared Mackerel Fillet with Baby Bok Choy Tips with Doubanjiang-Butter Sauce By Chef Ming Chan, Chinatown

Fourth Course: Raspberry Granita By Chef Hunter Blackford, Union Jack Pub

Fifth Course: Slow Braised Heritage Pork Cheeks with Caramelized Onion Mashed Potatoes and Charred Honey Carrots By Chef Brian Pellat, Bonnie Blue Sothern Market and Bakery

Sixth Course: Smoked Cherry and Chocolate Mousse with Brownie and Fueilletine Base, Rose Reduction and Granulated Hibiscus By Chef Will Mason, eM and bake

Abby Major, runner up of Season 3 Master Chef Junior, joined SRS and the Chefs in the kitchen again this year!  From the video you can see she really moves seamlessly throughout the kitchen and wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty!  She is sure to be a star!

We will be looking forward to next year’s dinner!
